PeopleLinx Presenting with Red Hat and the NBA’s Sacramento Kings at Dreamforce ’15
The best part of my PeopleLinx job, by far, is talking with customers. I love hearing their challenges and opportunities, aspirations and concerns, successes and setbacks. Social selling is a rapidly evolving area. There’s lots of buzz and excitement, and also lots of hype and jargon. Real-life customer stories keep it real. They show us what’s possible and where the real value lies.
So I’m thrilled that PeopleLinx will be speaking next week at Dreamforce ’15 with two of our most thoughtful and strategic customers: The NBA’s Sacramento Kings and leading enterprise software provider Red Hat.
For an insider look at what integrating social into Salesforce and your sales process can do for you, be sure to add these events to your calendar:
Social Selling: A Slam Dunk for the Sacramento Kings (Tuesday 9/15 at 2 p.m. PT)
Enterprise sales innovation may not be the first thing you associate with the Sacramento Kings. But when it comes to sales innovation, the Sacramento Kings’ reps are All Stars. Phil Horn, VP of Ticket Sales & Service for the Kings, is one of the most forward-looking sales executives you’ll meet. Under his leadership, the Kings’ sales organization is building a “Sales 3.0 platform” that integrates tools like Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and PeopleLinx. Phil and his team “get” social selling in a deep way, and is showing the rest of the sales world how it’s done.
Sales and Marketing Align to Take on Social Selling at Red Hat (Wednesday 9/16 at 4:30 p.m. PT)
I can’t imagine a company better equipped to talk about social selling than Red Hat. CEO Jim Whitehurst describes his company as “an organization that engages participative communities both inside and out–responds to opportunities more quickly, has access to resources and talent outside the organization, and inspires, motivates, and empowers people at all levels to act with accountability.” That’s an ideal context for social selling, and at Dreamforce ’15, we’ll get to hear the details. Red Hat Sales and Marketing leaders Matt Androski and David Somers will tell us how they’re empowering their sales team for social selling, creating accountability, and driving marketing and sales alignment at the enterprise software pioneer.
It’s a great honor to work with such exceptional customers, and an even greater one to present with them at Dreamforce.
