Gartner Names PeopleLinx 2014 "Cool Vendor"

I’m pleased to announce that PeopleLinx is one of five vendors selected by Gartner as a Cool Vendor in Content and Social Analytics for 2014!1
Every year the world’s leading IT research and advisory firm, Gartner, names its “Cool Vendors” and publishes a report examining these businesses, their products and their services. Gartner’s widely read “Cool Vendor” report evaluates companies who are considered to be innovative, impactful and intriguing.
“Finding insights across multi-structured data is a huge opportunity for business leaders to derive value from analytics,” Gartner’s report states. “The vendors in this report offer unique approaches to preparing data and finding hidden insights and making them accessible to a wide range of business users.”
For PeopleLinx, we believe this recognition reinforces our mission and commitment to our customers. Every company in the world has employees on LinkedIn, Twitter, and various social networks representing the corporate brand, products and services. That’s a huge marketing opportunity. Most employees aren’t taking advantage of it because they don’t know how. PeopleLinx is the first company to solve that problem at enterprise scale.
We are really happy to be recognized alongside such great names. When we launched in 2009, social business was a relatively new concept. Since then we’ve worked extremely hard not only to promote the social selling industry but also to prove the unique value in employee engagement. We believe this acknowledgment recognizes not only the growing importance of social business solutions, but also our success working with major brands as they continue the gradual enterprise-wide shift to social.
